Zlo na Zahodnem bregu
In Pamphlet no. 15, David Shulman, an Israeli Indologist, anthropologist, poet, and activist, discusses the disintegration of the Israeli state. The text opens with an accountr of the theft of livestock from the Palestinians in the village Ras al-Ayn in the West Bank, yet another in a series of settlements under illegal Israeli control that have been plundered and devastated by Israeli settlers. These events illustrate the Israeli state's deliberate inaction and tacit approval of such acts, which radically undermine the remnants of democracy. The author highlights four tenets of Israeli policy – that the territory between the Jordan River and the sea belongs to Israel, that the state is a metaphysical entity, the establishment of apartheid, and the maxim "if force doesn't work, use more force" – which lead to rampant militarism and the establishment of a dictatorial or even theocratic system, where any criticism, resistance, or rebellion is declared to be anti-Semitism.
